The pay listed above is encompassing of a total range, final compensation offered will be dependent upon several factors to include but not limited to years of experience and education within the position and industry.

Scope of Work:

This entry-level position will assist in the management and optimization of IBM Maximo. The specialist will support various projects and help ensure that our Maximo system runs efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our asset management initiatives across the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Support users by troubleshooting issues and providing solutions related to Maximo functionality.
  • Assist in configuring, implementing, and customization of IBM Maximo based on business requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior team members on data management, including data entry, validation, and reporting.
  • Help develop and maintain documentation, including user guides, training materials, and system procedures.
  • Participate in end-user training sessions, ensuring they understand how to use Maximo effectively.
  • Support the creation of workflows, processes, and automation within Maximo to improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist with the integration of Maximo with other business systems and applications.
  • Monitor system performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in testing and validation of new Maximo functionalities and modules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions.
  • Assist in ensuring data accuracy and consistency across the Maximo system.
  • Monitor system performance and generate reports to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Stay updated on Maximo features and best practices to enhance system utilization.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Consistently produces quality products and service.
  • Completes all training within required timeline.
  • Performs all work in a safe and secure manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Basic understanding of asset management concepts and practices.
  • Experience with database management and SQL.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Understanding of ITIL principles.
  • Familiarity with IBM Maximo or similar enterprise software is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Perform on-call duties within one hour, 24/7/365, except during scheduled leave.
  • Must obtain and use a government-issued common access card (CAC) and maintain worksite access.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills with a professional attitude.
  • Able to handle sensitive information and manage complex administrative and contract matters.
  • Must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or in teams.
  • Capable of working under tight deadlines in a high-volume, multi-priority environment.
  • Physically fit for labor, able to work outdoors in all weather, and meet driver and safety requirements.
  • Must maintain licenses and/or credentials required for this position.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Highly motivated, flexible organized and must be detail oriented.
  • Must have practical knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards, and standard safety practices.
  • Must be able to work alternate and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the customer’s mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.
  • Must have a safe driving record, as defined by Company policy, to operate a company vehicle.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check.
