The pay listed above is encompassing of a total range, final compensation offered will be dependent upon several factors to include but not limited to years of experience and education within the position and industry.

Scope of Work:

The Project Manager will be dedicated to the management of all aspects of logistic support within the limit scope of the contract for a fleet of USAF commercially derived aircraft.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for P&L and CPAR ratings of the contract
  • Establishes policies and procedures for performance and control of all project business management functions and technical support.
  • Ensures quality standards are applied to all levels of the work and measured for effectiveness.
  • Monitors performance of functional managers/supervisors and submissions of required reports including the Contract Data Requirements List.
  • Prompt resolution of issues associated with performance.
  • Ensure all parts are delivered to the customer within the required timeframe, to include AOG.
  • Leads the workforce in implementing partnering with customers to continuously improve performance and business relations.
  • Serves as principal liaison between the company and U.S Air Force stakeholders on the contract.
  • Directs and approves contract modifications, approves budgets, and takes action to correct discrepant conditions.
  • Maintains working knowledge of requisite business systems as they relate to the contract, including ability to implement future programs.
  • Provides guidance and direction to finance and accounting, human resources, training, IT, and procurement.
  • Conducts briefings and participates in meetings for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assumes and performs other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein but which are logically and properly inherent to the position, to include business development.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University.
  • 5 years’ experience with responsible oversight of aviation CLS programs supporting multiple sites and at least 5000 part numbers.
  • 5 years’ experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Contract Manager or Supply Chain Manager of a Federal aviation support contract.
  • Available to travel frequently to vendors and Government sites.
  • Maintain a fully adjudicated Secret security clearance.
  • Strong skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project
  • Familiar with the supply chain of commercially derived aircraft.
  • USAF experience, either civilian employee, contractor, or military member
  • Driving distance to Tinker AFB, OK – 200 miles
  • Must maintain licenses and/or credentials required for this position.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Must be able to work independently and interact well with others in a team setting.
  • Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities.
  • Highly motivated, flexible organized and must be detail oriented.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to maintain ability to access government worksite.
  • Must have practical knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards and standard safety practices.
  • Must be able to perform duties under adverse weather conditions (extreme cold / heat, etc.). Outside work in winter, summer, rain, sleet, and snow and on uneven terrain – side hills and slopes.
  • Must be able to work alternate and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements of the customer to include weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to perform on-call duties when necessary and report to work within the required timeframe from notification.
  • Must possess the ability to work in a team or alone and be able to change jobs on short notice.
  • Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.
  • Must have a safe driving record, as defined by Company policy, to operate a company vehicle.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check.
