Scope of Work:
THTBC is seeking a Project Control Analyst with Government Contracting expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience with financial analysis and forecasting, budget management, cost controls, and procurement.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary interface between Accounting Operations and Program Management
- Manage the program financial forecasting for a portfolio of FFP, T&M and cost type contracts
- Setting up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules
- Cost Point project setup and maintenance
- Performing analyses and preparing reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
- Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work and performing and/or assisting in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales forecast, and variance analysis
- Ensuring adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections
- Incorporating contractual changes into control systems
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; four years of experience may be exchanged in lieu of a degree
- Six years of project control or related experience
- Experience with program control, EAC management, and pricing
- Self-starter with change management experience
- Government contracting experience with exposure to Cost Type, T&M and FFP services contracts
- Industry related experience in Finance, Accounting or Program Control
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Proficient in Deltek Costpoint
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Regular use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling office equipment.
- Ability to occasionally walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop or kneel.
- May occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds (e.g., files, office supplies).
- Clear vision to read documents on computer screens.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone/video meeting, and email.
